These fun classes focus on a different style of dance each week. Only $15 per person.


  • Tuesdays 7 – 8 PM – Bronze Level (Beginner)
  • Swing Variety – August 25th
  • Rumba – September 1st
  • Waltz – September 15th
  • Foxtrot – September 22nd
  • Cha Cha – September 29th
  • Country – October 6th
  • Mondays 7 – 8 PM – Silver Level (Advanced)
  • Foxtrot – August 24th
  • Tango – August 31
  • Quickstep – September 7th
  • Cha Cha – September 14th
  • Night Club – September 21st
  • Waltz – September 28th

Please bring a clean pair of shoes and a mask to wear on the dance floor. Gloves are optional. No partners necessary. Pre-register for class by emailing BurnsvilleBallroom@outlook.com with names of participants, class name, and class date. Walk ins are welcome, but class sizes will be limited based on CDC recommendations. Pre-registration is recommended.


Intro Ballroom

For students new to social or ballroom dance that want to learn basic steps. Join us on Friday’s for our Intro Dance Group Class. Only $15 per person per class.


  • Fridays 6 – 7 PM
  • Merengue – August 28th
  • 4 Count Swing – September 4th
  • 4 Count Swing – September 11th
  • Merengue – September 18th
  • Merengue – September 25th
  • Each style will have two weeks of classes to build on each other.
  • Masks are required

Yoga at the Ballroom

Yoga unites the mind and body to create a workout for both. It brings balance, stretches the muscles, and builds strength that you can bring with you through the day ahead. Both classes will include breath work, warm up, yoga poses that work on stretching and balance, and a resting meditation at the end.


  • Gentle Yoga
  • Mondays 8:45 – 9:45 AM
  • – No Yoga on 9/7 Labor Day
  • Hatha Yoga
  • Wednesdays 8:45 – 9:45 AM
  • Hatha class will work on yoga poses that are held for 3 – 5 breath cycles each.
  • Gentle class modifies the traditional poses to be gentler on the joints and muscles.
  • All skill levels are welcome.
  • Classes are $15 each.

Please bring your own mat, a face mask, and a blanket or beach towel to class. Yoga blocks, bolsters, and straps are not provided at this time and are not required for taking class. If you own blocks, bolsters, or a strap, please feel free to bring them and guidance for use of props will be given during class. Yoga classes are before the main mall opens. Please enter through Entrance 4 next to Applebee’s and Lucky 13’s.


Tai Chi and Qigong

Classes available upon request for groups of 3 or more.

Tai Chi  & Qigong are graceful slow movement exercises from China created for better health and wellness.

Pre-registration for Tai Chi by emailing contact@touchingworlds.com or info@burnsvilleballroom.com. Please bring clean shoes to wear for the class.

Meditation Workshop

Meditation brings calm to the brain and body by turning off our fight or flight response. It increases our awareness of our bodies, mind, and surroundings to assist us with living in the moment. Learn and practice a variety of meditation skills that you can use at work, home, or at your favorite quiet spot. Andrea will share tips for meditating when under stress and when the mind is going at high speed.
